In today’s world, many people are looking for easy ways to make some extra money, and mobile apps are one of the popular options.
One app that has been getting a lot of attention is JustPlay. With over 10 million downloads on the Google Play Store, JustPlay promises that you can earn money just by playing games.
They advertise of paying out every 3 hours with no minimum payout, but does JustPlay really deliver?
In this review, we’ll break down what JustPlay is, how it works, how much you can earn, how to cash out, and whether it actually pays users. We’ll also look at the pros and cons to help you decide if it’s worth your time.
What is JustPlay?
JustPlay is a mobile game app made by a German company called JustPlay GmbH. You can find it on Google Play and the App Store.
The app lets you earn real money mainly by downloading and playing different games. There are also other ways to earn on the app which I’ll discuss later on in this post.
What makes JustPlay attractive from other similar apps is that it has a very low minimum cash out threshold of only $2 via PayPal, and you can request a payment every 3 hours.
How Does JustPlay Work?
After you download and install JustPlay, you need to allow the app to track your usage so it can monitor how much time you spend playing games.
One thing I really like is you don’t need to register for an account to start earning, there’s no signing in or out.
But don’t worry, even if you uninstall and reinstall it again the app automatically remembers you as long as you’re using the same phone, and all your points and earnings will still be there.
Earn Coins Playing Games
When you first open the app, you get a welcome bonus of 20,000 loyalty coins.
The app offers a variety of games, from puzzles to action games.
To start earning, you tap “Play and Earn,” which takes you to the game’s download page on Google Play. As you play these games and complete offers, you collect loyalty coins.
You’ll see a progress bar at the top of the screen that fills up as you play. Your goal is to fill this bar before the three-hour countdown ends. However, even if you don’t complete the bar you’ll still earn coins.
Just start playing the games and complete levels to earn coins. The more of the bar you fill the more coins you’ll earn.
Earn Coins Watching Advertisements / Doing Offers
There’s also a section below the games where you can earn coins by watching advertisement videos and doing offers.
The advertisements are videos for new games and other apps, they’re typically about 20-30 seconds long, at the end of the video you’ll receive 2000 coins to your progress bar.
How Much Are Loyalty Coins Worth?
One downside of JustPlay is that there isn’t a specific conversion rate for coins to cash.
This means you never know exactly how many coins will equal a dollar. JustPlay calculates the conversion rate after each three-hour cycle using metrics only they know, so your earnings can vary.
In my personal experience I would play for about 5-10 minutes to earn around 40,000 coins, this would equate to earnings of about $0.10 to $0.20.
But again, earnings can vary and your experience might be a bit different than my own.
Earning Potential
Based on user reviews and personal experience, the earning potential with JustPlay is low to moderate.
Unlike similar apps like Cash’em All where you get paid based on length of time spent playing the games, with JustPlay you get paid coins every time you complete levels. So the more levels you complete the higher your earnings.
Whenever I have a few minutes of spare time I would go to JustPlay and play 5-10 minutes, typically that would earn me about $0.10 to $0.20.
You can see how if I used it more often it would be easy to earn $1-$3 a day.

How to Cash Out
Payout methods include PayPal and Amazon and Target gift cards.
There is no payout threshold if you choose Amazon gift cards, but other methods have minimum balance requirements. For example, in the United States, you need at least $2 to cash out via PayPal and $1 with Target.
JustPlay also lets you donate your earnings to charities like Clear Air Task Force, Doctors Without Borders, and The Hunger Project.
Does JustPlay Pay Users?
Yes, JustPlay is a legitimate app that pays users. Many positive reviews on Google Play confirm that users have successfully earned and cashed out small amounts of money by playing games.
The app’s instant payout feature every three hours is a unique selling point. However, the reward system is unpredictable and lacks transparency, so it’s hard to know exactly how much you’ll earn.
I’ve successfully receive payouts a few times. Here is my own payout history from JustPlay:
Pros
- Instant Payouts: You can cash out every three hours as long as you reach the goal.
- Fast Payments: Payments are processed quickly, usually within one to two hours after the countdown.
- Low Payout Threshold: You only need a minimum of $2 balance to cash out via PayPal.
Cons
- Unpredictable Rewards: The lack of a fixed conversion rate makes it hard to know how much money you’ll earn.
- Basic Games: The games are often simple and may not be interesting for everyone.
- Frequent Ads: The games are filled with ads, which can be annoying.
- Limited Game Selection: There aren’t many games available, which can make the experience repetitive.
Is JustPlay Worth Using For Extra Income?
JustPlay is a legitimate app that lets you earn money by playing games. Its feature of allowing instant payouts every 3 hours makes it stand out from other reward apps.
However, the unpredictable reward system and frequent ads can be frustrating. The app is unlikely to provide high earnings, but it can be a fun way to earn a few extra dollars in your spare time.
If you enjoy playing mobile games and don’t mind watching ads, JustPlay is worth trying. Just keep your expectations realistic and understand that the earning potential is moderate.
Overall, JustPlay is one of the better game apps for making money online, provided you are aware of its limitations.
